To assist in breaking up the hard packing of powders in drums that may occur over time or during transport, METO offers several different conditioning or massaging options. These may be built into other drum handling devices or configured as stand-alone units.

These units apply a pressure to the drum exterior that results in the breaking up of the solid that may otherwise prevent flow from the drum.

Lump Breakers, Bridge Breakers

For smaller clumps of powder that may flow from the drum but subsequently disrupt flow through discharge valves or screens, METO offer a variety of lump breaking devices. Similarly we have devices to breakup any bridging that may occur at the discharge outlet. Every product is different, so be sure to consult closely with our engineering department.

Drum Washing

To assist in the spray washing of stainless steel drums, METO offers devices to invert empty drums, devices with integrated spray balls, and devices to move drums in and out of cabinet-style washers and dryers.

Boxes and Other Containers

All METOLIFT drum handling equipment may be modified to handle boxes and other containers instead of along with drums. Tell us about your specific need.
